Chief Executive Officer

Justin Buschman, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

As EMMA Health Technologies’ Chief Financial Officer, Justin oversees the company’s accounting, finance, and business administrative functions. His previous experience includes serving as the CFO of a manufacturing company in the Erie, PA region, as well as positions in public accounting for clients in industries ranging frommanufacturing and retail to local government and education. Justin served as 2019-2020 president of the Erie Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and also sits on the Penn State Erie Accounting Advisory Board.A veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, Justin received his BS in accounting from the Pennsylvania State University, Erie. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Pennsylvania.

Kevin Erdely

Vice President, Product Support

Kevin has over 30 years of experience working in product development, service, and technical support. Prior to joining EMMA Health Technologies, he worked for Evive Station and Diebold Nixdorf in such positions as technical adviser and account performance. He is an expert in programming, design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting technology-driven integrated self-service systems. At EMMA Health Technologies, Kevin is responsible for service, support, documentation, and installation operations for all of our technology solutions. He also works collaboratively with product development and engineering to assist with product design, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Kevin holds a degree in specialized technology from Penn Technical Institute and has received extensive training in computer networking.

Mary Ann Miller

Vice President, Marketing

Over her extensive career, Mary Ann Miller has served as in senior level leadership of skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, institutional pharmacies, and a national medication packaging organization. By combining her expertise in operations, marketing, and branding, she has successfully built companies from start-up to sale. Prior to joining EMMA Health Technologies, Mary Ann worked in institutional pharmacy operations for ASCO Healthcare. Under her leadership, the company grew from a single location to become the market share leader in the mid-Atlantic. Following the acquisition of ASCO Healthcare by Genesis ElderCare, Mary Ann expanded the company’s pharmacy operations from New England to Florida in her role as president. She was later promoted to Southern Region President of Genesis ElderCare and also served as the Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing for the organization's skilled and nursing facilities and all of its ancillaries (pharmacy, rehabilitation, hospitality, respiratory, consulting, and group purchasing organization). A native Marylander, Mary Ann attended University of Maryland.

Jenny Caffrey

Senior Account Executive

Jenny has a passion for helping pharmacists improve their clinical offerings and grow their businesses. She has over 15 years of experience working in the long-term care industry as a regional sales manager for pharmacies of all sizes. Jenny is an active member of several industry professional associations including the Ohio Health Care Association and the Brain Injury Association of Michigan, and also served as the past president of the Miami Valley (OH) Long Term Care Association. Jenny has an AS in business administration from Sinclair Community College and a BM in music education from the University of Dayton.

Theresa Mandela, RN, BSN, QCP

Medication Adherence Specialist

Theresa’s experience as an RN, educator, pharmacy nurse consultant, and quality improvement professional serves her well in helping her clients understand the potential that pharmacy-managed technology brings to individuals on a complex medication regimens. She also advocates for remote automated technology ensuring nurses have immediate secure access to first-dose drugs in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Theresa holds a BS in nursing from George Mason University and is certified in Antibiotic Stewardship Mastery, quality assurance performance improvement (QAPI), and TeamSTEPPS master training.

Matthew Middleton

Director of Software Development

Matthew is an experienced senior software engineer with expertise in Java, Spring, web apps, agile methodologies, and database development. In his role at EMMA Health Technologies, Matthew taps into his expertise developing software solutions for medical devices. Prior to joining EMMA Health Technologies, Matthew held positions in web application and software engineering in the manufacturing and telecommunications industries. He earned a BS in computer science from St. FrancisUniversity.
